The COMPAX 1000SL now offers the opportunity to fully utilise digital servodrive technology in special applications, including the low-power range.

Micromech have launched an all digital 1kVA servo drive with integrated controller aimed at low power automation applications.
The COMPAX 1000SL combines a high functionality position controller, digital drive and power supply in a single compact unit.

All communications between the controller and the servo motor are handled in the digital domain, conveying high levels of control flexibility, response speed and positional accuracy. Special purpose functions such as electronic gearbox, rotary table, synchronous cycle and flexible electronic cam control allows the chosen servos to perform the most exacting tasks in the automation market.

A specially designed range of motors delivering torque from 0.4 to 1.5NM is also offered to compliment the COMPAX 1000SL

The motors all have an integrated resolver as standard. SinCos encoders (single and multiturn) and brakes are optional.
The controller features dual processor architecture to maximise dynamic performance. An application specific DSP handles all computationally intensive tasks.
The price-performance ratio for the drive package comprising COMPAX 1000SL, motor and specially-manufactured cables represents a major step forward.
With this new family member, the COMPAX series from Micromech, now covers the power range from 1kVa up to 35kVA.
