As well as having RS232, the MP940 has option for DeviceNet, Profibus, CANbus and CERF/mechatrolink network interfaces.

Eliminate gear maintenance and backlash
Digital gearing allows independently driven axes to be perfectly synchronizes, as they were rigidly connected, allowing flexible positioning of drive components.

Increased position resolution
High density serial encoding allows 17-bit incremental or absolute position resolution. Common mode noise rejection eliminated the detrimental effects of noise up to 50 metres
between components.

Increase throughput
The MP940 has an ultra-fast, 2mS position update, rapid settling time, and continuous path generation. This means increased accuracy at increased feed rates.

State of the art cam features
The MP940 uses electronic camming, phase adjustment, and registration to precisely synchronised independent axes. This eliminates the need for cumbersome, expensive,
mechanical cam-boxes. Advanced cam generation software makes the programming of cams very straightforward.
