Hello, I’m Danny Parrish and I am the Warehouse Supervisor at Micromech.

I started working for MML, in January 07, on a temporary basis helping out in the warehouse after the company I was at went in to receivership four months earlier. My redundancy money was sufficient enough to allow me to spend those four months with my wife and our newborn baby daughter.

Hannah is almost two now, and in those two years I have moved up to the role of Warehouse Supervisor. My wife Sarah-Louise, who was on the MML sales team, now works from home.

My role includes looking after the warehouse staff, controlling dispatch, stock takes, and managing incoming and outgoing repairs. I now also look after several of our large customers’ scheduled call-off orders and I liase with staff at MSL about production of these orders.

In my free time I like to go to the gym. One of my goals this year is move towards fitness orientated training rather than just lifting heavy weights. I have decided to become a fit Dad rather than just a big one!

I also like to use computers and have two 'Apples' at home. I recently bought a digital Camcorder that I have used to make several videos of Hannah and Sarah when we have been out and about. So far I haven’t managed to bore anyone to death!
