The Laser Stage shown is a good example of Micromech's ability to combine various motion control technologies to supply a custom built 3-axis stage assembly.

The long axis is a stepper with a 1 micron liner encoder, the cross axis is a piezo legs with a 1 micron encoder on it and the lifting axis is a stepper thruster which can resolve 1 micron over +/-10mm travel.
