S700
The new Danaher Motion S700 adds onboard Ethernet and new safety functions to the performance and features of our popular SERVOSTAR 300.
S700 is compatible with the SERVOSTAR 300 with advanced functional scope.
- Same architecture and processor as the SERVOSTAR 300
- Expands the SERVOSTAR 300 family up to 24A output current
- Familiar, user-friendly startup software
Three slots for expansion cards make the S700 particularly flexible:
- Slot 1 can take the well-known SERVOSTAR 300 expansion cards.
- Slot 2 offers a generous bus size for customer-specific expansion cards.
- Slot 3 can take a SAFETY expansion card.
A lot of fieldbus interfaces, evaluation of most feedback devices and a lot of predefined I/O- and position control functions make the S700 the first choice for all motion control tasks.
It is anticipated that the S700 will be available from the 2nd quarter of 2007.

Completely digital controlling
Innovative highlights of the digital control technology include the digital current controller (space vector PWM, 62.5 µs can be switched over to 31.25 µs if required), the flexible digital speed controller (62.5 µs) and the onboard position controller (250 µs can be swtiched over to 125 µs if required) with customization options for virtually every conceivable drive task.
