OVERHEAD 1 - GANTRY Base Units K Series

The OVERHEAD GANTRY CNC base unit is a special version of our FLATCOM series. The design solution moves the conventional support and drive system above the work area and the axis modular units are mounted in the upper frame of the machine.
Thereby allowing free access for loading and unloading of work pieces from all sides.
The concept is particularly suitable for applications such as laser and water jet cutting, pick and place operations and general machining. Coolants and swarf do not effect the general machine efficiency.
