Nippon - Drivers - PDF Catalogues
NP series : Stepper motor driver chips
The NP series drivers are hybrid IC's with built in driver bridge and chopper current control functions and are designed to drive 2 phase stepper motors. The chips have either full step or half step modes of excitation supported. Clock sequenced inputs are required. NP-7024M and NP-7026M drive unipolar stepper motors.

BCD/BD series : Board level stepper motor drivers
The BCD drivers are constant current type drivers which incorporate our NP series chip for stepper motors. The BD4005U is a constant voltage type driver. The BCD/BD Series drivers are small, easy to interface and use, yet powerful enough to support most applications. The BCD drivers have opto-isolated inputs and outputs.

Controllers - PDF Catalogues
PCL/PCD series : Motion control chip
PCL/PCD series programmable pulse generators are motion chips that will simplify controller design, make the board smaller, and unburden the microprocessor. High output pulse frequencies (6.5 MHz maximum), which are compatible with either stepper or servomotor systems, offer the design engineer a variety of cost/performance choices. The major applications are semiconductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, robots, analyzers, medical examination equipment and automatic handling machines.

NPMC and PPCI Series : Board-level Motion Controllers
NPMC series board level motion controllers are multi-axes stepper motor controllers. The boards are available in 2 or 4-axes ISA bus and PC/104 bus format. General features are high pulse rate capability for microstepping (4.9Mpps with the NPMC5023 series and 6.5Mpps with the NPMC6045A board), S-curve ramp-up and down, encoder feed back inputs, and linear interpolation. The NPMC series is powerful and makes it easy to program your own motion profiles (the software uses Microsoft Windows·? to provide quick setup and testing, and is included along with a C programming library). The major applications for the NPMC Series Boards are semi-conductor manufacturing and inspection equipment, robots, analyzers and medical instruments.
The PPCI7443 is an advanced PCI-bus, 4-axes motion control card that allows control of stepper motors or servomotors. The PPCI7443 incorporates a PCL6045 motion control chip as part of its compact design, and it comes with user-friendly software that incorporates MS-DOS, C/C++ programming library; Windows® 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP DLL; and a test monitor. The software allows for easy set-up and supports up to a maximum of twelve PPCI7443 cards, allowing for operation of up to forty-eight axes.

Motion Checker : Simple and easy stepping motor controller
Motion checker is a driver integrated programmable controller with simple and small package to check motion of stepping motor with multi function.
This controller is for 2 phases stepping motor of both unipolar and bipolar drive.
Motion checker has four models. MCH-1 has most simple function. That is drive, revolution direction and speed. MCH-2 has more function. Speed, acceleration, deceleration, operation mode, pattern and full step or half step. MCH-3 has external signal I/O in addition to the function of MCH-2. MCH-5 has variable program and memory function.
You can use Motion Checker not only to motion check of stepping motors but also presentation, inspection, test, connection and integration to other devices and so on.
