The new generation of touch-screen Terminals are available with 5" 8", 10" and 12" screens . NS Terminals are ideal both as universal control units for individual machines and for the operation of networked systems. The NS series brings advanced information processing to the factory floor in a manageable and reliable manner. 1:1 NT Link, 1:n NT Link, controller link and FINS protocols ensure outstanding communication performance in OMRON networks. The design of the enclosure is extremely flat so space requirements are minimal compared to the effective area. The terminal's low weight and compact dimensions allow lightweight, inexpensive bracket and housing solutions . NT touch-screen HMI family features a complete range of screen sizes and functionality from simple 2 line function key operation through to touch screen semi-graphical and graphical panels with monochrome and colour STN, TFT and EL displays. NT touch terminals are designed to provide a highly reliable and robust solution. At the same time they are easy to program and to integrate in any industrial automation application.
Touch screen HMI offer a larger increase in flexibility for programming (a touch switch can operate any address within the PLC) and also for easier operation for the skilled or un-skilled users. No more difficult to follow instructions to explain different operation of the Function Keys - simply draw the touch sensitive area and specify the functionality (set a bit in the PLC, change display screen, enter a value into the control system) with the easy-to-use configuration software. Many customers use the increased screen area to increase the functionality of the HMI by adding more detailed operator information, help, graphical images and support information. With recent manufacturing changes this technology is now available at a very cost effective prices and many users are now changing to this technology.
With CX-Automation suite visualisation products Omron offers you a choice of tools that allow you to visualise your machine, process or production. The key Omron benefit, regardless of the complexity of the control, is the ease of use in product selection, programming and deployment the field. CX-Server lite offers connection between Omron control systems and Microsoft Office products and using the standard templates included with CX-Server lite are being used, production data can be read and displayed in Microsoft Excel without any programming. CX-Supervisor is the final product in the family and offers real ease of use combined with a powerful range of functions and features.
Advanced Touch Screen
The new generation of touch-screen Terminals are available with 8", 10" and 12" screens.
Also new is a smaller 5.7" STN model to complement the 8", 10" and 12" TFT screens already available to allow this powerful 'Machine Management' functionality to be used on a wide range of machines and to fully compliment the range of Omron PLC's. The advantage with Omron is that application code written for NS5 will also work on all products in the family allowing a scalable display solution without extra development costs.

Function Key
Omron offers a full range of function key terminals to suit any application.
The NT2S is a character based terminal that offers a cost effective solution for even the smallest application. 3 types are available.
The NT4S offers full functionality. The NT4S proves that a sophistocated HMI solution can be built with a character based terminal. 3 models are available.
For a solution with a graphical terminal the NT11S, NT15S and NT18S are available.

Touch Screen
Omron was the first to introduce touch screen terminals in Europe, and is now one of the leading touch screen terminal suppliers. The extensive experience with this terminal type has lead to a range of products of uncompromised quality and functionality. The terminals are ruggedised and compact at the same time.
A complete range is available. For a cost effective solution in small applications the NT20S can be used. For larger applications terminals with ¼VGA and VGA size monochrome or colour LCD screens are available. The NT631C offers STN or TFT technology LCDs.

Scada
The OMRON HMI range is completed by SCADA softwares which are part of the CX Automation suite.
CX Supervisor includes all the future of a powerfull SCADA interface : alarms, point editor, graphical libraries, recipes, script language, OPC client connexion and database connection.
CX Server Lite is a set of ActiveX components which allows to build SCADA applications in Visual Basic.
