Safety door monitoring and interlocking

D4BL, D4BS, D4DS, D4GL & D4NL - Interlocking and safety switches

The D4BL, D4GL and D4NL guard-locking safety switches ensure that movable guards are locked during operation and cannot be opened until dangerous conditions have been removed. These switches are intended for use, for example, where the stopping time of a dangerous movement is longer than the time that a person needs to reach the hazardous area (machines with large amounts of inertia for instance), and for ovens, which may present a danger of burning.
The D4BS and D4DS safety door interlocking switches are intended for machines with fast shut-down time. They prevent the machine from starting until the guard is closed and automatically stop the machine if the guard is opened during operation, preventing any danger to the operator. These switches comply with EN 1088.
