Safety sensors for hazardous areas (type 2)

F3S-B • Safety light curtain, E3FS • Single-beam sensor

The safety light curtain F3S-B is suitable for providing hand, limb and body protection.  The single beam sensor E3FS is designed to protect unauthorised entry in a hazardous area, by using 2 to 4 single beams in combination with the controller F3SP-U1P-TGR.
These Type 2 safety sensors meet all of the relevant safety requirements. They can be used as safeguarding devices in all applications corresponding to category 2 (EN954-1).   When used in combination with the multifunctional muting controller F3SP-U2P-TGR, up to two F3SB safety light curtains can be applied in a muting application. The E3FS controller has an integrated muting function.
