The precision table bearing consist of two through-hardened standardbearing steel rings, a Teflon filled plastic cage and complement of superprecision steel balls. The specially designed raceways increase load capacityand stiffness in moment loading while guaranteeing high precision, longerservice lifetime and very low coefficient of friction.

This bearing makes it possible to reduce the size of many precision rotary bearing systems. The FMB's compact design, as low as 8mm high can replace a double back or face mounted angular contact bearing pair at a substantial savings of space and cost.
