CUSTOMISED PRODUCTS

The last thing an OEM wants to do is take product from stores, carry out modifications only to put it back on the shelf ready for later use in production. It adds to administration, may cause errors and is of course expensive. What is really required are products delivered from your supplier, ready for installation, on time!

To make life easy, Micromech is happy to undertake these numerous modifications. We produce special shafts and flanges, add cables and connectors to motors, paint, fit gearboxes and encoders, as well as producing special adapters for fitting motors to actuators and brackets for assembly into multi axis mechanical systems.

TO MEET THIS GROWING DEMAND MICROMECH INTRODUCED:

Crisp Service Application Example

Stepper motor/encoder with MIL-C-5015 spec connectors, cable assembly's & drive interface PCB's.

To meet a customer requirement, we took a standard 23 frame Superior Electric stepper motor (8 leads) with extended shaft and fitted an 'Eltra' 1000 ppr encoder.
We then designed and fitted an end cover which protected this encoder and fitted this to two MIL-C-5015 spec plugs.
Each motor was supplied with two 3M high flex oil resistant cables fitted with mating connectors and a specially designed interface PCB to allow easy connection & daisychaining of Parker OEM series stepper drives.
