STÖGRA Antriebstechnik GmbH was founded in 1990 by two electrical drive specialists (a mechanical engineer and an electrical engineer), who had previously worked for many years developing, producing and specifying electrical drives (especially in the field of stepper motors).
Finding the best drive combination (motor - power amplifier/drive -control) for the customers application is guaranteed due to our technical competence and experience. Our application engineers support their customers from the first request through technical calculation of the application until finally taking into operation the finished machine.
The group structure includes the company Wild & Grabmaier Feinmechanik und Elektronik KG, founded 1974, with the development and production departments and the company STÖGRA Antriebstechnik GmbH functioning as sales and engineering company. Wild & Grabmaier KG was successfully certified according to ISO 9001 in may 2001. This guarantees high quality products and processes.
The products of STÖGRA Antriebstechnik GmbH are well known on the market under the name ZEBOTRONICS Stepper Motors. From 1974 to 2002 the stepper motors and controls were sold under this name. Since 2003 all stepper motor products are sold only under the STÖGRA Antriebstechnik GmbH name.
The location of all the companies departments (development, production, customer support and sales) is in the southern part of Munich in Germany. Because of the concentrated location of all departments, STÖGRA is always able to react fast and flexibly to all demands (e.g. short delivery time in urgent cases like machine breakdown, customer's special technical requirements or solving of any technical problems with the customer's application).
STÖGRA stepping motors and controls are used worldwide. Sales and technical support outside Germany is made by selected technically competent and qualified agents or representatives.
If something needs to be positioned, moved or rotated, then stepper motors are used. Their robustness and the possibility to do positioning without expensive control technology, gives them considerable advantages in comparison to other motion systems for many different types of applications.
Also under extreme conditions they guarantee the highest level of technical quality and reliability. The motors and controls are designed as a modular system, which enables a great variety of combinations.
