High-Performance Right-Angle Gearbox
The WITTENSTEIN RPC+ combines the performance of the RP+ planetary gearbox with a precision bevel gear stage to provide a compact right-angle drive solution. Low ratios in the angled stage allow high-performance planetary gearbox characteristics to be maintained while enabling more flexible machine layouts.
Precision, Rigidity and High Torque
Designed for demanding motion control applications, the RPC+ delivers maximum torque from 1,402 to 7,535 Nm, with backlash of ≤1.3 arcmin and high torsional rigidity. Its reinforced bearing system supports high forces and tilting moments, while the gearbox design helps reduce heat development for improved positioning accuracy.
Optimised for Rack and Pinion Systems
The RPC+ is particularly suited to high-performance rack and pinion applications. Integrated slotted holes simplify adjustment between the pinion and rack and eliminate the need for separate adjustment plates, helping increase system rigidity and reduce assembly effort. Its axially short right-angle configuration also supports more compact machine designs.
