These options for the new Electrak® XD actuator can come to your rescue in sticky situations.
If you ever deal with situations where a machine component is stuck, breaks or finds itself in an awkward position, don’t fret. The new Thomson Electrak® XD electric linear actuator can be moved manually into a position to allow user access for maintenance. This functionality is possible through two available options:
Manual Brake Release allows the XD to travel under the power of applied load and/or gravity, and provides regenerative current to your power supply or battery to help control movement.
Manual Override allows you to manually drive the XD to a full extend-and-retract cycle under maximum loading to achieve movement where power may not be available.
