The ALM-T Series Ironless Linear Motor is designed for applications requiring a compact motor profile, low moving mass and high force density. Its ironless construction eliminates cogging force, enabling exceptionally smooth motion with minimal velocity ripple.

The motor’s lightweight coil and direct drive design provide high acceleration and rapid dynamic response without requiring mechanical transmission components such as ball screws, belts or gearboxes. This reduces backlash, mechanical wear and maintenance while supporting precise and repeatable linear motion.

The ALM-T range provides continuous force ratings from 10 N to 846 N and peak force ratings from 36 N to 4,233.6 N. Multiple motor sizes and coil lengths are available, allowing the required force, size and performance to be matched to the application.

Optional digital Hall modules are available for motor commutation. The motor’s slim construction makes it particularly suitable for integration into compact modules and multi-axis positioning systems where installation space is limited.
