The WITTENSTEIN XPC+ is a high-performance bevel gearbox from the alpha Premium Line, combining low backlash, high torsional rigidity and high torque density with a compact right-angle design. Its low gear ratios and flexible output configurations make it ideal for precise motion control where installation space is limited.
High-Performance Right-Angle Gearbox
The WITTENSTEIN XPC+ combines the performance of the XP+ planetary gearbox with precision bevel gearing to provide a compact right-angle drive solution. Low ratios in the bevel stage enable the gearbox to achieve the same overall low ratios as comparable planetary gearboxes while allowing greater flexibility in machine design.
Precision and High Rigidity
Designed for demanding motion control applications, the XPC+ combines consistently low backlash with high torsional rigidity for accurate and repeatable positioning. Maximum torque ranges from 48 to 2,646 Nm, while the gearbox architecture helps reduce heat development within the drive system, supporting improved positioning accuracy.
Compact and Flexible Machine Integration
The axially short right-angle configuration allows the XPC+ to be integrated into machines where installation space is restricted. A wide choice of output configurations, including smooth shaft, keyed shaft, splined shaft, blind hollow shaft and system output, provides flexibility for different machine designs and applications.
