Electrak® XD Linear Actuator

The Thomson Electrak® XD represents the next generation of electric actuators, delivering hydraulic-level performance in a compact, efficient, and intelligent design. With dynamic loads up to 25,000 N and static loads up to 32,000 N, it handles demanding applications. Additionally, it offers stroke lengths up to 1,200 mm and speeds up to 75 mm/s. Moreover, designed for harsh and washdown environments, the Electrak XD provides extensive ingress protection (IP69K static, IP67 static, IP66 dynamic) and exceptional durability with up to 275,000 cycles of life.

Furthermore, key features include an internal load-holding brake, optional shock-load dampening, manual override for power failures, and continuous monitoring and diagnostics via onboard electronics. The actuator is also highly configurable, supporting low-level switching, CANopen®, and SAE J1939 bus systems. Options include low-level signal motor switching, position or force feedback, end-of-stroke indication, programmable end-of-stroke limits, and open-loop speed control with diagnostics and overload protection.
