Thomson H-Track Actuators deliver powerful, self-contained hydraulic performance in a compact electric actuator form. Fully sealed and maintenance-free, they offer exceptional durability, corrosion-resistant marine-grade options, and the ability to hold loads without power—even in harsh, high-wind or underwater environments.
Meeting the application requirements of both high loads and compact space, Thomson H-Track actuators feature self-contained hydraulic actuation in the space-conscious form factor of an electric actuator. The H-Track is completely sealed, contaminant-free and maintenance-free for the life of the actuator. A marine-grade option uses 316 stainless steel components to improve corrosion resistance, while its sealed motor housing enables underwater operation. The H-Track resists drifting and holds a load stationary without power during load reversals, allowing it to hold position in high-wind environments, and withstand high shock-load applications and bouncing loads.
H-Track Actuator Feature Highlights:
- Hydraulic drive delivers up to 4,800 pounds (21,350 N) of force and travel speeds near 4 in. (100 mm) per second.
- The anodized aluminium alloy housing resists corrosion and provides protection from dirt, dust, humidity and many corrosives.
- Temperature operating range of -26ºC to 65ºC (-20ºF to 150ºF) standard / -40ºC to 54ºC (-40ºF to 130ºF) and -18ºC to 80ºC (0ºF to 180ºF) available.
- Standard stroke lengths of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 in. (51, 102, 152, 203, 254, 305mm).
- IP65 (without marine option) and IP68 dynamic (with marine option), IP65/IP67/IP69K static
- Rod does not require torsional restraint.
