Micromech is excited to announce the launch of Trio’s Motion-PLC range — a breakthrough controller that unites advanced motion control with IEC 61131-3 PLC logic.

This launch introduces Trio’s MCS controllers, MS EtherCAT coupler, and I/O slices, delivering flexible, scalable solutions for applications ranging from simple machines to large, stand‑alone systems.

The Flexible Machine Controller Range

MCS 30

  • Ideal for simple machines
  • Perfect for users with a PLC programming background
  • IEC 61131-3 languages available “out of the box”

MCS 40

  • Single core controller
  • Designed for simple stand-alone machines, e.g. gantry operations

MCS 50

  • More powerful dual core processor
  • Extra Ethernet port
  • Built for larger machines such as glue laying applications

MS I/O System

Completing the line-up is the MS I/O System, a compact, robust, high-performance expansion system.

  • Direct connection to Motion-PLC controllers or via EtherCAT coupler
  • Modular ‘slice interface’ for flexibility
  • Configure with any combination of digital/analogue inputs or outputs
