The ME and MH/MB series of brushless servo motors provide a wide range of torques, speeds, and sizes to suit applications requiring high dynamic performance and reliability. The ME series covers torques from 0.5 to 269 Nm, speeds up to 7,500 min⁻¹, and is available in 69 models across five frame sizes. The MH/MB series offers torques from 0.2 to 269 Nm, speeds up to 10,000 min⁻¹, and includes 75 models across six frame sizes.

Both series use high-performance Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets, securely fastened to the shaft using an encapsulation method, enabling very high accelerations and the ability to withstand high overload without risk of demagnetisation or magnet detachment. Shaft and flange size flexibility across all models allows users to optimise motor selection for specific applications.

The SMH / SMB Series of highly-dynamic brushless servo motors have been design to combine the cutting-edge technology of Parker Hannifin products with an extremely high performance. Thanks to the innovative "salient pole" technology, the motor’s dimensions are considerably reduced with significant advantages in terms of specific torque, overall dimensions and dynamic performance.
Compared to traditional-technology brushless servo motors, the specific torque is approximately 30 % higher, overall dimensions are considerably reduced and, consequently rotor inertias are extremely low. Thanks to the high quality of Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets, and also the encapsulation method used to fasten them to the shaft, the SMH/B motors can achieve very high acceleration and withstand high overloads without risk of demagnetisation or detachment of the magnets.
Specific applications for the SMH/B Series include all types especially those for the packaging and handling industry, and all those applications where very high dynamic performances and very low inertias are required.
