Electrak® MD Actuator
Designed as the smaller sibling to the Electrak® HD actuator, these smart electric linear actuators deliver impressive power despite their compact size. Built to perform reliably in the harshest environments, they are fully washdown-capable and require no service or maintenance. Onboard controls offer versatile options, including CAN bus communication and low-level switching, with or without position feedback, enabling a wide range of applications.
The Electrak MD series delivers compact but powerful electric linear actuation. In addition, it is fully washdown-capable. This makes it reliable in harsh environments and eliminates the need for maintenance.
Furthermore, onboard electronics allow Electrak MD to handle a wide variety of industrial and mobile applications. It features a built-in J1939 or CANopen CAN bus, overload protection, and electronic trip point calibration. Also, end-of-stroke, voltage, and current monitoring ensure precise control.
Electrak MD includes standard anti-rotation actuation, dynamic motor braking, self-locking lead nuts, and temperature monitoring with compensation. Moreover, it complies with CE, RoHS, and REACH standards. Flying lead cables provide easy installation.
Additionally, multiple electronics configurations are available. These include EXX monitoring systems, EXP analog position output, LXX low-level signal switching, LLX end-of-stroke output, and LXP analog output. CAN bus control options include CNO (J1939) and COO (CANopen) with open-loop speed control. Internal limit switches (XXX, XXP, LLP) provide precise end-of-stroke management.
As a result, Electrak MD is ideal for automated guided vehicles, logistics trains, packaging machines, agricultural and landscaping equipment, and seeding, watering, or fertilizing machines.
